Rayna is a self-taught artist from Dayton, Ohio. Since childhood, a combination of exploration and experimentation was her favorite way to learn. She finds infinite inspiration in nature, especially in its darkness and tranquility. Using blended brushstrokes and palette knives, she paints landscapes, animals, and abstracts. Her work has been described as existing in the grey area between light and dark. She suggests that finding solitude in dark wild places offers a unique sense of fulfillment for the soul.
She currently lives in Dayton with her husband, their five-year-old son, and their lovable mutt.
